Welcome to PNBREA! Home of the Cheat River Railroad!!

The PnB REA is named after the Pepperell And Brookline Railroad (actually it was the Brookline and Pepperell RR )which was a Boston and Maine subsidiary before its demise back in the mid 30’s. The Brookline and Pepperell railroad ran through Pepperell parallel to Pleasant St. The REA stands for Railroad Enthusiast Association, and is a group of fellow model railroaders, railfans, railroad enthusiasts and railroad employees. The PnB group is currently constructing a model railroad layout which is named the Cheat River Railroad. Cheat River RR is a subsidiary of Kennebec Valley Industries.

--Kennebec Valley Railroad which operates former Maine Central rail lines in Maine. (reporting mark KVL)
  
--Cheat River Railroad which operates rail lines leased from the Chessie System in West Virginia
                (reporting mark CHTR)

--Klondike and Western Railroad which operates rail lines in Alaska. (reporting mark KWRR)

--Devens and Harvard railroad which operates former New Haven rail lines in Central and 
   Eastern Massachusetts    (reporting mark DEHA)

--North Stratford Railway  (reporting mark NOST)
